Repairon is a clinical-stage German private biotechnology company that focuses on developing treatments for heart failure. Founded in 2014, the company was established based on the groundbreaking work of Professor Wolfram Hubertus Zimmermann and his team, who developed several tissue engineering technologies proven to be applicable to organ repair. Repairon’s lead therapeutic candidate, Engineered Heart Muscle (EHM), is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial as a biological ventricular assist tissue (BioVAT HF) for advanced heart failure.
