In 1985, Impladent introduced OsteoGen® Synthetic Bioactive Resorbable Graft (SBRG) for bone augmentation and alveolar bone defect repair. The non-ceramic crystals of OsteoGen® are physically, chemically, and crystallographically similar to human trabecular bone, making the product equivalent to pure allogeneic bone. Recently, Impladent launched the OsteoGen® Bone Graft Plug, a one-step solution for alveolar bone preservation without the need for a membrane.
