Oblato

Oblato is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HLB Therapeutics, a South Korean biotechnology company. Since 2016, the company has been developing a new drug, OKN-007, for the treatment of brain cancer, particularly glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), which is considered a rare disease, and diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), a rare pediatric disease. Currently, clinical trials are underway to study the safety and efficacy of OKN-007 in combination with temozolomide for newly diagnosed and recurrent GBM patients. The company has just initiated a Phase 1 clinical study using an oral formulation of OKN-007 for patients with recurrent high-grade gliomas.
