AmplifiDx is developing a molecular point-of-care (POC) platform for the rapid detection of infectious diseases, including STIs and respiratory illnesses such as COVID-19. AmplifiDx's system is expected to deliver highly sensitive results comparable to those from commercial laboratories, at a lower cost and with faster turnaround times, with the company aiming to achieve these results in approximately 30 minutes.
