Sansum Clinic

Sansum Clinic is the oldest and largest nonprofit outpatient medical institution on the Central Coast of California. Sansum Clinic continuously improves the level of care in the community and strives to meet the community's needs. The organization’s significant advances in healthcare include the first kidney dialysis machine and the first kidney transplant surgery in Santa Barbara. Doctors at Sansum Clinic performed the first carotid and laparoscopic surgeries and brought the first digital mammography service to Santa Barbara. The clinic expanded its care to residents through one of the first outpatient urgent care facilities, offering after-hours services open to the community.
