BCAL Diagnostics is an Australian biotechnology company dedicated to improving women's health. Over the past decade, BCAL has developed a non-invasive blood screening technology initially intended for use alongside breast cancer screening methods. To date, results have shown a sensitivity of 91% and specificity of 80%. This technology will initially complement existing imaging techniques, such as mammography, while BCAL further develops monitoring and screening tests suitable for women of all ages and backgrounds in any location.
