Kalos Medical has developed DENEX™, a medical device used for treating hypertension and renal denervation. The device consists of three electrodes, which are introduced into the renal artery via a catheter, delivering radiofrequency energy to the arterial wall to deactivate renal nerves, thereby reducing hypertension.
