Initial Therapeutics

Initial Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company founded in 2020 by ATP's venture partner Spiros Liras and three researchers from the University of California. The company plans to develop innovative drugs for treating cancer and other serious diseases by selectively blocking protein synthesis (selective termination of protein synthesis, STOPS) to target "undruggable" or "non-druggable" protein targets.
