Developer of Ultrasonic Ablation Systems

Basic Information

Renaly, a subsidiary of Venus Medtech, has developed the RND Session ultrasonic ablation system—a new generation of dual-mode ultrasound technology for application in the field of renal artery denervation (RDN). The next-generation RDN device developed by Renaly is based on an ultrasonic energy system, which ensures precise and efficient ablation while significantly reducing issues such as insufficient nerve ablation or vascular injury caused by uncontrolled ablation, making treatment outcomes more predictable. The device consists of three parts: an ablation catheter, a console, and a software system. Real-time imaging during the ablation process can be clearly observed through imaging software, which uses ultrasound to indicate lesion location and employs a lesion scoring system to keep the operator informed about the surgical situation. Its 6Fr delivery system comes with an internal torque tube, allowing collimated energy distribution to reach a lesion depth of 10mm. Energy titration can be provided based on distance and tissue property variations.
