CCS was founded in 1997 by Dr. Marvin Konstam and Dr. James Udelson of Tufts Medical Center. The company is a contract research organization specializing in cardiovascular diseases. It has become the preferred Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies seeking to conduct research on the management and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
