Woven Orthopedic Technologies is a medical technology company. The company developed the first technical platform, the Ogmend® Implant Enhancement System. This system is designed to help surgeons achieve strong fixation between hardware and bone in cases of poor fixation. The initial concept for this product was proposed by Dr. Alexander Jones of the company. During a routine fixation surgery on an elderly patient, Dr. Jones encountered a common challenge faced by orthopedic surgeons: screws and hardware did not adequately fit the patient’s bone, failing to ensure healing stability.
