Atrandi Biosciences is a biotechnology startup aiming to commercialize droplet microfluidics technology. Last year, Atrandi launched Styx, a droplet-based benchtop high-throughput screening platform. Styx complements the company’s Onyx platform, which is used for next-generation sequencing library generation and functional analysis. Atrandi’s semi-permeable capsule technology addresses the limitations of traditional microfluidics, such as high costs, limited applicability to different workflow types, and a restricted number of single-cell data points.
