Libera Bio S.L., a privately held Spanish company spun out from the University of Santiago de Compostela, aims to revolutionize cancer treatment by enabling biologics to cross cell membranes and reach “undruggable” intracellular targets. It has conducted preclinical studies on antibodies targeting frequent mutations in KRAS, a protein associated with numerous cancers, particularly pancreatic, colorectal, and lung cancers. The company is currently preparing for authorization studies aimed at obtaining clinical trial approval.
