Starlight Therapeutics

Starlight Therapeutics, a newly established subsidiary of Lantern Pharma, plans to build a leading CNS oncology franchise to develop the unique drug candidate STAR-001 for some of the most malignant and unresolved primary and secondary CNS cancers. The program being developed by Starlight was born from the analysis of billions of oncology-focused data points and the use of Lantern's AI platform, RADR. STAR-001’s robust anti-tumor mechanism of action, synthetic lethality, and collaborations with internationally recognized institutions, including the Johns Hopkins Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Greehey Children's Cancer Research Institute at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, position it well for targeted and highly efficient clinical development programs. Starlight plans to initiate human clinical trials for multiple CNS indications starting from the end of 2023, building on previous IND-enabling studies and the Phase I clinical trial conducted by Lantern.
