Neurgain Technologies

Neurgain Technologies (NGT) was founded in 2013 with the aim of developing technologies focused on treating neurodegenerative diseases and neuropathic pain. Neurgain is developing a novel gene therapy technology and delivery device for the treatment of chronic neuropathic pain and spinal spasticity. 7-8% of the population suffers from neuropathic pain. Current treatment management is ineffective: the drugs being used have poor efficacy and cause adverse side effects, such as drug resistance, addiction, and other conditions. NGT's mission is to positively impact this issue through our patented innovations, providing an effective therapy that improves patients' quality of life. The company is developing two assets: 1. An intraspinal gene delivery platform (device), 2. A preclinical gene therapy for severe neuropathic pain. NGT plans to license the platform transfer technology to multiple pharmaceutical/biotech companies developing gene or cell therapies for the central nervous system. Neurgain's business strategy includes out-licensing spinal cord delivery technology and the clinical development of gene therapies for neuropathic pain and chronic spasticity.
