Curacel was founded by Henry Mascot and John Dada in 2019 with the aim of building a platform to provide insurance for the next billion Africans and empowering businesses everywhere by embedding insurance technology for users. Curacel aims to drive insurance penetration in emerging markets through APIs, enabling insurance companies to connect with various digital distribution channels and manage their claims. Curacel's vision is to build an electronic medical health information management platform that allows clinics to digitize paper records, appointments, patient communications, billing, and reports through a web application.
