Basic Information
BCA is a membership organization composed of more than 60 independent blood centers distributed across various regions of North America, accounting for 50% of the blood supply in the United States. In addition to their core business of providing most of the blood supply in the U.S., BCA members also offer a variety of other services, including transfusion services, immunohematology testing, therapeutic apheresis, and tissue and cord blood banking. Furthermore, BCA members provide a range of human blood products, cells, and tissues for the treatment, diagnostic, and cell therapy industries.
