Halda Therapeutics is a research-stage drug discovery company. The company’s anticancer strategy is distinct as it does not target drivers associated with cancer onset and progression, offering the potential to overcome various cancer resistance mechanisms and provide new treatment options for refractory patients. Halda's investigational therapy is called Regulated Induced Proximity Targeting Chimeras (RIPTAC). One end of RIPTAC binds to proteins highly expressed in tumor cells, while the other end binds to proteins closely related to cell survival within the cell. The resulting ternary complex inhibits the function of proteins essential for cell survival, leading to the death of tumor cells.
