Nanoflex Robotics

Nanoflex Robotics is a magnetically controlled medical soft robotics company headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. The company has developed a proprietary robotic platform that uses precise electromagnetic fields to navigate magnetic devices through complex vascular anatomies. Its product portfolio aims to diagnose and treat vascular diseases, including acute ischemic stroke, in a timely and safe manner. Nanoflex Robotics' first product will be a compact, mobile electromagnetic field generator that can be easily moved between interventional suites in hospitals. It requires no additional infrastructure other than high-voltage power points and water-based cooling systems. The system allows for direct control of the tips of magnetically adaptive interventional devices, whereas traditional procedures often must transmit torque along device lengths exceeding one meter to control tip direction.
