Plasticell is a company that provides hematopoietic stem cell expansion technology using CombiCult® combinatorial screening technology and advances innovative therapies by differentiating induced pluripotent stem cells into red blood cells, platelets, and immune cells. Plasticell has developed powerful medium compositions capable of expanding hematopoietic stem cells in vitro up to 500 times and is developing GMP-compliant production processes, including cell expansion and differentiation, gene transduction, protein production, and optimal laboratory solutions for drug screening. Currently, drugs based on the differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells into red blood cells for anemia treatment are in the early stages of development.
