Orano Med is a nuclear biotechnology company developing innovative radiopharmaceutical therapies in the field of oncology. Orano Med has developed a new process for producing lead-212 (212Pb), a rare radioactive isotope used in targeted alpha therapy (TAT), an innovative and promising approach in nuclear medicine that identifies and destroys cancer cells while limiting the impact on nearby healthy cells. In addition to the 212Pb GRPR trial, Orano Med is conducting a Phase II clinical trial of 212Pb DOTAMATE, which could provide a therapeutic alternative for treating metastatic neuroendocrine tumors.
