ATCOR develops and sells medical technologies that measure the risk of hypertension, cardiovascular disease (CVD), and other related vascular conditions in patients. SphygmoCor® technology enables researchers and clinicians to measure non-invasive central blood pressure (NcBP), central arterial pressure waveforms, central aortic pressure, and pulse wave velocity. The analysis of central arterial pressure waveforms measured by the SphygmoCor® system provides clinicians with better prognostic and diagnostic information for targeted interventions—effects that cannot be detected by standard brachial artery blood pressure measurements alone.
