Carrier Biomed was formed through the merger and reorganization of two leading companies in China's exosome industry—Jiangsu Beiger Pharmaceuticals and Shanghai Carrier Micro Pharmaceuticals. In October 2022, it was introduced to Suzhou with the support of a key project under the Suzhou Industrial Park’s “case-by-case discussion” initiative. The company is located in the Artificial Intelligence Industry Park within the industrial park, near Jinji Lake. Carrier Biomed owns proprietary intellectual property rights for an exosome isolation platform and has multiple pipelines based on large-scale, multi-center clinical studies involving thousands of cases. These include early blood diagnostics for neurodegenerative diseases, early cancer diagnosis, and late-stage dynamic monitoring. The company’s team and advisory board comprise top experts from the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles, leading domestic and international experts in neurology and clinical oncology, as well as seasoned professionals with extensive experience in industrialization. The company possesses world-class exosome technology research capabilities and a Class 100 extracellular vesicle production workshop.
