EmPowerYu has created an advanced remote patient monitoring system that uses powerful and intelligent analytical technology, built upon a few strategic, unobtrusive third-party home security and automation sensors. By combining lifestyle data streams with medical device data streams, it identifies patterns related to diet, sleep, medical monitoring, and daily activities. We determine the probability of specific events occurring and create an Activity Profile™ that quantitatively describes each individual's "normal" daily activities. Our system is device-agnostic, integrating user-selected sensors into the profile. We do not require cameras, wearables, or behavioral changes to obtain continuous data. All data is analyzed and presented as visual information through a simple UI accessible to caregivers with limited technical skills, thereby reducing the time needed to monitor one or more patients. We protect users' privacy and dignity through our methods of data collection and information presentation.
