Curamys is a biotechnology company developing cell and gene therapies aimed at providing treatments for rare and refractory diseases. The company's platform utilizes cell fusion technology, a novel approach that enables the healthiest and youngest cells to identify apoptotic cells (diseased or dead) and fuse with them, allowing the apoptotic cells to heal. This technology can be combined with stem cell therapy to develop a therapeutic agent and can be used to discover the causes of refractory diseases at the cellular level, enabling healthcare professionals to treat certain rare genetic disorders. Currently, Curamys is focused on developing treatments for rare diseases, including Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Lou Gehrig’s Disease (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), and Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia.
