Opteev Technologies, Inc. was founded in 2020 as a subsidiary of Novatec. The company has developed ViraWarn, a personal, pocket-sized handheld breathalyzer device that uses patent-pending artificial intelligence (AI) and proprietary algorithms to detect COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses, including respiratory syncytial virus and influenza. ViraWarn is currently undergoing clinical trials and has not yet been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
