Phenex Pharmaceuticals AG is a privately-owned drug discovery company. The company operates biology and chemistry laboratories, with offices primarily in Heidelberg and partly in Ludwigshafen. Its expertise in small molecule drug discovery focuses on liver and gastrointestinal diseases, and it has recently expanded into the field of cancer treatment. Phenex Pharmaceuticals not only designs new therapeutic approaches for known targets but also aims to identify novel molecular mechanisms.
