Yeda

Yeda is the commercial subsidiary of the Weizmann Institute of Science. Yeda has signed an exclusive agreement with the Weizmann Institute to commercialize unique intellectual property developed by scientists, with the resulting revenue used to support further basic research and scientific education. The company's mission is to identify and evaluate research projects with commercial potential; protect the intellectual property of the institute and its scientists; establish business relationships and license the institute’s inventions and technologies to industry; and channel funding from industry into research projects.
