BlueSphere Bio was established to enable each patient's immune system to create their own personalized adoptive cell therapy (ACT) for treating cancer. Its vision is to offer every cancer patient the opportunity for a cure. The company is built on a unique, advanced TCR discovery platform — TCXpress™ — designed to rapidly and efficiently isolate and functionally characterize TCRs. This platform will be used to identify panels of specific TCRs that respond to shared antigens across various clinical settings, applicable for TCR-based cellular therapies or antibody-like molecules such as bispecific T-cell engagers. While the company’s initial focus is on oncology, the platform can also be deployed in other therapeutic areas like autoimmunity.
