Although requirements were relaxed during the COVID-19 pandemic, methadone is typically dispensed in federally regulated clinics, which often require patients to travel daily to receive their dose.Sonara's system includes a tamper-proof label for medications and a web application that allows patients to tape themselves while taking methadone. The clinician-facing application enables them to remotely and asynchronously monitor patients' medication usage.
