KBio is a subsidiary of BAT, aiming to leverage its plant-based platform to create a new generation of biologics. It focuses on developing novel biotherapies derived from an innovative plant platform. Its goal is to utilize its plant-based platform to produce a new generation of biologics, which has demonstrated the ability to manufacture novel antibodies and vaccine candidates with high purity, requiring only a fraction of the time and cost compared to current technologies.
