Lambda vision

LambdaVision is designing and developing an innovative, protein-based artificial retina utilizing the light-activated protein bacterial rhodopsin to restore functional vision for individuals blinded by degenerative retinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and retinitis pigmentosa (RP). These conditions have no cure, and currently available treatments only slow their progression. There is a significant unmet need for therapies that can restore meaningful vision to those affected. By developing an artificial retina, LambdaVision hopes to one day help patients regain their sight, enabling them to independently perform daily tasks.
