Axis-Shield Diagnostics, Ltd. focuses on the development and manufacture of in vitro diagnostic tests for clinical laboratories and point-of-care use. We specialize in supplying point-of-care diagnostic products. Our product range includes HbA1c, U-albumin, CRP, D-dimer, and specific assays. The Afinion CRP test is a point-of-care assay that indicates the cause of bacterial or viral infections. With a total assay time of just 4 minutes, the CRP test results can support the clinical diagnosis of inflammation. The NycoCard system includes four selected PoC tests: CRP, HbA1c, D-dimer, and U-albumin. All of these can be analyzed on the same instrument—the NycoCard Reader II. There is a series of recorded PT-INR tests at the point of care for monitoring anticoagulant therapy. The APTT test can be used for screening the intrinsic coagulation system and facilitating the control of heparin therapy. These tests are suitable for point-of-care use on thrombosis instruments as well as for large coagulation analyzers in clinical laboratories. Nycotest PT-INR is a reagent used for screening the extrinsic coagulation system.
