Cormorant Pharmaceuticals is dedicated to the development of cancer and rare disease drugs. HuMax-IL8, developed by Cormorant, is a monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-8 (IL-8), currently in Phase I/II clinical trials. By targeting IL-8, HuMax-IL8 has demonstrated the potential to enhance immune response; additionally, through combination therapy, HuMax-IL8 has also shown the ability to improve the efficacy of existing cancer drugs.
