Basic Information
ImmuneSensor Therapeutics, Inc. ("ImmuneSensor") is a privately held clinical-stage biotechnology company dedicated to harnessing innate immunity for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases. The company is currently developing novel drugs targeting cyclic GMP-AMP synthase ("cGAS"), a stimulator of the interferon genes ("STING") pathway, to modulate the innate immune system. Based on groundbreaking discoveries from the laboratory of Dr. Zhijian Chen, Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute ("HHMI"), ImmuneSensor is advancing STING activators to enhance anti-cancer immunity, as well as cGAS inhibitors to suppress overactive autoimmunity. The company’s lead candidate, IMSA101, is currently in Phase I monotherapy and combination trials for solid tumors. Its pipeline also includes second-generation targeted STING activator candidates for cancer therapy, as well as cGAS inhibitors for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
