Mays & Schnapp

Mays & Schnapp was founded in 1985 by anesthesiologist Dr. Kit S. Mays and neurologist Dr. Moacir Schnapp, both pioneers in the field of pain, with the aim of introducing multimodal pain treatment as a medical specialty to Memphis, Tennessee. Mays & Schnapp first gained accreditation in 1989, an accreditation that continues to this day with certification from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), making it the only CARF-accredited interdisciplinary outpatient pain rehabilitation program in Tennessee and the surrounding region. The Mays & Schnapp team provides advanced personalized care to help patients manage pain, restore function, and improve quality of life, which may include any combination of nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, physical therapy, medication management, and other therapies.
