Basic Information
Parvus Therapeutics is developing a pipeline of novel Navacim candidates that generate disease-specific Treg cells in vivo to reverse autoimmune diseases without compromising normal immune function. Navacims induce disease-specific immunosuppression while avoiding the general immunosuppression associated with current treatments. Parvus' innovative approach has the potential to benefit millions of patients with various autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases. Navacims reprogram disease-associated, autoantigen-experienced T cells (effectors) to differentiate and expand into regulatory T (Treg) cells (suppressors) specific to the patient’s disease. These disease-specific Tregs selectively reverse autoimmune diseases by suppressing autoimmune attacks without impairing normal immune function. Parvus retains unencumbered rights to all Navacims and all indications and is advancing our robust proprietary pipeline of Navacim candidates into clinical trials. The leadership team at Parvus has extensive experience in drug discovery, development, and commercialization across diverse therapeutic areas, including immunology and autoimmune diseases.
