EpiAxis Therapeutics is a privately funded leading epigenetics company focused on the treatment, diagnosis, and monitoring of cancer, as well as the prevention of its recurrence. Our lead therapeutic candidate targets the eraser enzyme lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1) and has a dual mechanism for treating cancer by: (1) targeting dormant cancer cells that seed cancer recurrence, and (2) revitalizing exhausted immune cells. Importantly, we have demonstrated clinical proof of concept for reprogramming cancer cells by targeting LSD1 in our groundbreaking EPI-PRIMED clinical trial. In addition to our first-in-class assets, we possess dominant intellectual property covering the targeting of LSD1 in combination with other drugs, including radiotherapy in a metastatic setting. We also have programs targeting PKC theta and PD1/PDL1.
