HansBiomed

HansBiomed was founded in 1993 and is located in Seoul, South Korea. It is the only publicly listed company in South Korea's plastic surgery industry to date. The company began researching and producing high-calcium collagen extracted from human bones and skin dressings in the early 1990s, and established industry standards based on this research, known as the "Hans Method" in South Korea, which quickly established its leadership position in the industry. HansBiomed holds a patent for bone regeneration promotion material, CMC (Carboxymethyl Cellulose Carrier); in 2012, HansBiomed became the first company in Asia to join the AATB; in 2013, HansBiomed's demineralized bone became the first product in Asia to receive U.S. FDA 510(K) certification.
