Medikine is adopting a multifunctional drug discovery platform that generates modular cytokine-mimetic "PEPTIKINES," which are smaller in molecular size than natural cytokine proteins and structurally unrelated to them. These PEPTIKINESTM are further engineered to possess unique characteristics and optimized therapeutic properties not found in naturally occurring cytokines. We have successfully identified PEPTIKINES for multiple receptor targets and will continue to explore the platform’s utility across hundreds of cytokine receptor targets relevant to human diseases. Through our expertise, we are identifying promising drug candidates that will drive successful outcomes for patients with cancer, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases.
