Bio Innovation

Bio Innovation Group is an undergraduate-run research group based on campus. Our goal is to help motivated students develop technical lab skills and leadership abilities by engaging them in projects with real-world impact. Bio Innovation Group seeks to advance emerging life science technologies and biotools to assist scientists and engineers in making improvements, streamlining processes, and innovating in the fields of drug development and manufacturing. Bio Innovation Group has developed paclitaxel-gallium transferrin, a novel protein complex for targeted treatment of advanced cancer, which was acquired by clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Adhera Therapeutics, Inc.
