Weigao Group, established in 1998 and located in Weihai, Shandong, founded its subsidiary Weigao Blood Purification Industry Group in 2004. Specializing in the field of blood purification, it was the first enterprise to achieve full industrial chain coverage of products and services related to blood purification treatment. Its main products include hemodialysis machines, high/low flux polysulfone membrane dialyzers, hemofilters, dialysis tubing, arteriovenous puncture needles, dialysate (powder), plasma separators, and Protein A immunoadsorption columns. Weigao Blood Purification Group has partnered with Nikkiso Co., Ltd. to establish Weigao Nikkiso (Weihai Dialysis Machine Co., Ltd.), incorporating Nikkiso’s proprietary technology and management systems. This collaboration has led to the production of world-leading hemodialysis devices such as the DBB-27C, DBB-06S, DBB-07 single-patient hemodiafiltration device, DBB-06S hemodialysis machine, and DBG-03 single-patient hemodiafiltration device. The production system has been certified under the ISO9001 and ISO13485 quality management systems. At the end of 2020, Weigao showcased Nikkiso's new generation hemodialysis equipment, the DBB-EXA, in Zhuhai, Guangdong. Equipped with the fully automated dialysis system D-FAS, it achieves fully automatic priming, fully automatic blood extraction, and fully automatic emergency volume-controlled fluid replenishment, significantly reducing the workload of on-site medical staff and making hemodialysis treatments more convenient and precise. Currently, Weigao’s two major consumable products, dialyzers and tubing, hold a dominant market share in China.
