Alpha-5 Integrin is a privately held preclinical company developing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) for the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (“ALS”) and other neuroinflammatory conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (“MS”). Alpha-5’s lead therapeutic candidate has a novel mechanism of action with the potential to improve clinical outcomes for ALS patients, supported by autopsy studies, and has repeatedly shown significant improvement in the SOD1 mouse model.
