Cugene

Cugene is a clinical-stage biotechnology company leveraging unique precision engineering technologies, including the cytokine-based TILKine™ and VitoKine multi-product platforms, to develop next-generation drugs for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and cancer. Cugene's lead candidate, CUG252, is an engineered IL-2 mutant protein designed to selectively activate and expand immunosuppressive Treg cells while minimizing undesired IL-2 activity on other IL-2 receptor-expressing cells, for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. CUG252 is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials in healthy volunteers.
