Robocath is a medical robotics company located in Rouen, France, responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The R-One robotic system includes a radiation-protected mobile control station and a remote-controlled robotic unit. With the help of anthropomorphic technology, it allows easy navigation of instruments fixed on the R-One robotic arm, which replicates hand movements, primarily rotations and independent or simultaneous translations. The right joystick controls the navigation of the guide, while the left joystick manages the catheter carrying a stent or balloon that is pre-installed on the guide. The R-One robotic system received CE marking certification in 2019 and is currently being sold in Europe (France and Germany) and South Africa.
