Nano-X is a compact radiation therapy device designed to provide cancer treatment for patients in areas with limited medical resources. Nano-X has secured $2.5 million in funding. With this new financial support, the company will begin animal treatment trials and subsequently integrate its findings into its clinical system. Nano-X is an innovative cancer treatment system designed and developed in Australia. Nano-X will transform the delivery of radiotherapy from large reference centers to small-town hospitals. Its advanced onboard imaging/planning system can capture 3D images in real time, control the radiation beam, and automatically deliver the appropriate image-guided tissue energy. It requires fewer dedicated staff.
