CorWave is a medical device company that develops innovative heart pumps (left ventricular assist devices, LVADs). Our mission is to reduce the burden associated with left ventricular assist devices by controlling pump-related adverse events and reducing the invasiveness of surgery. We utilize a unique patented pumping technology that overcomes the drawbacks of rotary pump systems. Inspired by nature, CorWave technology can mimic the blood flow patterns of the heart, reduce energy requirements, and provide opportunities for further miniaturization of left ventricular assist devices.
