Kynos Therapeutics is an immunometabolism company with world-leading expertise in the kynurenine pathway and kynurenine 3-monooxygenase (KMO) biology. As a spin-off from the University of Edinburgh, the company owns a portfolio of KMO inhibitors covering key indications in inflammation, immunity, and metabolism, initially co-developed by GlaxoSmithKline and the University of Edinburgh, now exclusively licensed. Kynos Therapeutics is developing an innovative drug pipeline. Our drugs block the action of KMO – a key enzyme at the interface of inflammation, immunity, and metabolism.
