SINOMED was founded in 2007 in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area and has wholly-owned subsidiaries in Beijing, Suzhou, Hong Kong, the United States, Japan, the Netherlands, and France. In October 2019, the company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, becoming a STAR Market listed enterprise (stock code: 688108.SH). After more than a decade of development, SINOMED has established an international-level R&D, production, and operational system, with business covering key areas of interventional treatment such as cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, and structural heart diseases. The company owns eight core technologies and 18 product pipelines; globally, it holds 199 authorized patents and exclusive licenses. Clinical research results of its products have been published in 24 papers in domestic and international core journals (including 18 in international core journals). It has undertaken seven national and provincial scientific research projects, including one "13th Five-Year Plan" National Key Research and Development Program project. Since its establishment, SINOMED’s main products—coronary drug-eluting stents, coronary balloons, and intracranial rapid exchange balloons—have been used over 1.2 million times, entering more than two thousand hospitals, benefiting hundreds of thousands of patients in China, Southeast Asia, and South America. HT Supreme is China’s first cardiac stent product to simultaneously conduct pre-market clinical studies in China, the United States, Japan, and Europe, and apply for product patents in these countries and regions. It obtained the Medical Device Registration Certificate from the National Medical Products Administration at the end of 2020 and received registration approval for extended product shelf life from the National Medical Products Administration in November 2021.
