Aptatek is developing cutting-edge technology for portable disease management devices to improve patient compliance and health outcomes. Aptatek's core technology was developed in the laboratories of Dr. Milan Stojanovic and Dr. Tilla Worgall, faculty members at Columbia University Medical Center. The technology is based on DNA aptamer sequences that can detect small molecule biomarkers which antibodies cannot detect.
